This one just came up at work. Im jotting it down.

We just got a cost anomaly report in AWS saying we had a big spike in EBS volume usage. The tags on the EBS volume all point to a specific EKS cluster we use for load testing. There are hundreds of EBS volumes that are not attached but still available. What is the first thing we should do? Let’s go through the scenario as an SRE.
